Download Instructions

Audio files (MP3s) are available for downloading 24 hours following the live program or upon payment.

Audio + slides are available for downloading 48 hours after the live program or upon payment.

If the program is available for immediate download, the Download button will appear on your web order receipt page and will also be active in your Strafford web account.

To download from your web order receipt page, right-click the "Download" button (or hold down ctrl and click if on a Mac), and choose "Save Link As..." or "Save Target As..." (depending upon your browser). Then, save the file to your computer. You can also download or copy any MP3 file to an MP3 player (ex. iPod).

To access your downloaded file from your account on the Strafford website, click on "Sign In" at the top right corner of this page and enter the account holder's email address and password. (You will have the opportunity to set or reset your password if needed.) Once signed in, click on your name or email address on the upper right side of the web page to access your account.

Your downloaded file(s) will be listed. If the Download button appears under the Download column, your file is available immediately. To download, right-click the "Download" button (or hold down ctrl and click if on a Mac) and choose "Save Link As..." or "Save Target As..." (depending upon your browser). Then, save the file to your computer.

You can re-download either file from the Strafford website for up to one year.

MP3 (Audio Only) and Webinar (Audio + Slides) Playing Instructions

To play a downloaded audio or webinar file, double-click to open the file. It should begin playing in your default media player.

If the file does not begin playing, make sure your computer is equipped with speakers, a sound card and an MP3 player or a video media player (ex. Windows Media Player).

Virtually all computers come with a default MP3 player. If you do not have one or it does not work with the Strafford audio or video file, you can download one for free from the Internet. Strafford recommends VLC because it can play a wide variety of audio and video formats and is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems.

To download VLC, click the "Download VLC" link in the upper right of the body of the VideoLAN home page. The link will autodetect your operating system and download the appropriate file. Once the download is complete, double-click the file to open it.

In Windows, double-clicking the file will launch an installer. Follow the directions on the install wizard to complete the program installation.

In Mac OS X, double-clicking the file will open a Finder window of the contents of the disk image. Drag the "VLC" icon to your "Applications" folder to install it.

Program Materials

If you are downloading audio only on MP3, see below for access to the program materials. If you are downloading audio plus slides, the speaker slides will be part of your video and you can also download them in PDF format.

Speaker handouts are available on the program web page approximately 24 hours prior to the event. When your download is available, you can simply follow the link in your account to the program web page. In the upper right-hand corner of the page, click on the Speaker Handouts link found in the Program Materials box. This will take you to a PDF that includes all of the speaker handouts. You can also download CLE/CPE Official Record of Attendance forms from the Program Materials box.
