What should I know about CLE On-Demand Webinars?

CLE On-Demand streaming webinars are available 48 hours following the live program and are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can view on-demand programs online at your convenience. Strafford offers one year of continuous access to every program you purchase.

Strafford legal on-demand webinars are eligible for CLE credits in many states. Refer to our map for information about your specific state.

Upon completion of the webinar and an Affirmation of Attendance form, Strafford will provide a CLE certificate of attendance to the person listed as the attendee on the order receipt.  Additional copies of a recording can be purchased at a discount. What should I know about CPE On-Demand Webinars?

CPE On-Demand streaming webinars are available on selected CPE programs 48 hours following the live program and are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can view CPE on-demand online at your convenience. CPE On-Demand must be completed within one year from date of purchase.

Strafford is a NASBA-approved CPE provider for On-Demand webinars. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Contact your State Board to which you report if you have any questions regarding the states requirements and the applicability of a course to meet those specifications.

A certificate of completion will be available immediately after successfully completing the course and passing the final exam with a score of 70% or better.

To access the certificate, click on the "CERTIFICATE" button on the Final Exam passed page or from your on-line account page. To access a certificate from your user account page, click on the "CERTIFICATE" button next to a fully completed and passed course.

How do I access my CLE or CPE On-Demand Webinars?

If a "Listen" or "Watch" button is showing on your web order receipt, the program is available for immediate access. Simply click the button and follow the instructions on the screen.

If not, it will be posted to your Strafford web account within 48 hours of the live program.

To access your audio or video file from your account, click on "Sign In" at the top of this page and enter the account holder's email address and password (if needed, you will have the opportunity to set or reset your password).

Your online files will be listed under the heading "On-Demand Seminars." If a "Listen" or "Watch" button appears, your program is available for immediate access.

Most computers are set up with everything you need to listen to or watch the on-demand webinar. Specifically, the system requirements are:

  • Recent Web browser (e.g., Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Firefox 3.0 or higher, Safari 4.0 or higher)
  • Internet connection
  • JavaScript enabled
  • Adobe Flash Player installed (Internet Explorer requires ActiveX enabled in order to install Flash)

How do I play my CPE On-Demand Webinars?

Please note CPE On-Demand courses have restricted functionality. The fast-forward function is not available during the initial viewing of the CPE on-demand course. However, you may exit the course and come back later at any time. To ensure that your progress in the webinar is properly tracked, please click the “pause” button before leaving the web page or closing your browser.

To resume your course, click on "Sign In" at the top of Strafford's home page and enter the account holder's email address and password. Click on the "Watch" button next to the course name you wish to resume.

Multiple choice review questions will automatically appear at the end of each course section. You will get feedback on the choice you have selected. Review questions are not graded but must be answered correctly to continue to the next course section. After correctly answering the review questions, click on the "PLAY" button to continue the CPE on-demand course.

Your course viewing progress can be seen by looking at the "Amount completed" counter directly under the progress bar under the course viewing box.

After viewing the entire course, click on the "CONTINUE" button next to the "PLAY" button under the course viewing box to take the Final Exam. A passing score of 70% or better is required to receive a certificate of completion. If you do not pass the Final Exam, you may retake the exam until you pass.

On-Demand courses must be completed within one year from date of purchase.

Which recorded formats are available for Strafford programs?

Strafford CLE webinars are available as On-Demand, MP3 Downloads, Webinar Downloads and DVDs. CPE On-Demand streaming webinars are available on selected CPE programs.  All formats contain a recording of the complete live program presentation, including question-and-answer session, as well as access to speaker handouts (PDF format). Most legal (CLE) programs qualify for self-study CLE credits.  If a CPE program has the On-Demand product available, it qualifies for NASBA CPE credit.

What should I know about Recorded Audio Downloads (MP3)?

MP3 audio files are available for downloading 24 hours following the live program (pre-payment required). Downloading an MP3 file takes a couple of minutes or less. It can be saved to your computer and copied to any iPod or MP3 player or CD.

If you are using Windows and have Windows Media Player installed, or if you are working from a Mac and have QuickTime or iTunes installed, you are all set. Simply follow the instructions provided on your purchase receipt.

A CPE certificate of completion is NOT available for this recorded format.

What should I know about Recorded Webinar Downloads?

Recorded Webinars are available for downloading 48 hours following the live program (pre-payment required). Downloading a video file should take 30 minutes at most, depending upon the speed of your Internet connection.

If you are using Windows and have Windows Media Player installed, you are all set. Simply follow the instructions provided on your purchase receipt. If you are working from a Mac, you may need to download and install VLC (free) to play our WMV video files. Once you've installed VLC, simply follow the instructions provided on your purchase receipt.

A CPE certificate of completion is NOT available for this recorded format.

How do I access my Recorded Audio or Recorded Webinar downloadable files?

Downloadable files are posted to your Strafford web account. To access your downloaded file(s) from your account, click on "Sign In" at the top of the page and enter the account holder's email address and password. (You will have the opportunity to set or reset your password if needed.) Once signed in, click on the name or email address on the upper right side of the web page to access your account.

Your downloaded file(s) will be listed. If the Download button appears under the Download column, your file is available immediately. If not, MP3 files will be available for downloading 24 hours following the live program, Webinar downloads will be available 48 hours following the live program (pre-payment required). You can re-download any file from the Strafford website for up to one year.

Can downloadable files be shared with others?

Posting on the Internet or sharing with parties external to your company is strictly prohibited.

What should I know about DVDs?

Does the program recording contain the speaker handouts?

All recorded formats contain a recording of the complete live program presentation, including question-and-answer session, as well as access to speaker handouts (PDF format).

How quickly will my DVD be shipped?

DVDs are generally shipped within 10 days following the live webinar. Please note that payment must be received before a DVD is shipped.

Can my DVD order be shipped overnight?

Orders received by 4 pm Eastern can be shipped the same day via overnight or 2-day service. Customers pay a $10 rush handling fee plus actual expedited shipping charges. Alternatively, customers may pay the $10 rush handling fee and charge shipping to their own expedited shipping account.
