Payment Options

What are my payment options?

We accept American Express, MasterCard, VISA and Discover, as well as checks.

I want to purchase online but don’t have a credit card. May I be invoiced for my order?

Yes, place your order as usual and click on BILL ME INSTEAD when you reach the payment information screen. 

Please note that your order will not be processed until payment is received as described below:

For live webinars, in-person seminars and webcasts, payment must be received by the program date unless special arrangements have been made.

For an individual annual pass, payment must be received before the pass will be activated in your account.

For CPE/EA processing, payment must be received by 5PM the day of the program to receive a Certificate of Attendance within 24-48 hours.

For webinar downloads and on-demand recordings, payment must be received before the files are posted to your account.

For DVDs payment must be received before your order will be shipped.

How do I apply a promo code toward my current purchase?

Discount and Promo codes must be applied at the time of purchase.

Do you offer discounts for students, government agencies or nonprofit organizations?

Yes, nonprofit and government employees, college students and professors receive a discount off the 90-minute program registration price. To request the special pricing, place your order via email or call Strafford Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-926-7926 (weekdays 9am to 6pm Eastern).

What is Strafford's Scholarship Policy?

Strafford offers full or partial scholarships to unemployed attorneys, law students, law professors, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and others with financial hardships. Individuals may only apply for a hardship reduction once within a 12-month period.  Submission of an application does not constitute acceptance and Strafford reserves the right to make a determination on a case-by-case basis.

Application Instructions:

Please email for a Scholarship/Hardship Application.

Then submit the completed Scholarship/Financial Hardship application with a sheet of your letterhead with anticipated current year earnings (if employed) or with a copy of your student ID at least 10 business days prior to the course date.  Requested information should be sent to Strafford’s Continuing Legal Education Department by email, or mail (see below).

Scholarships and discounts are nontransferable from program to program or person to person.
