What is a live webinar?

A Strafford live webinar is an interactive 30- to 110-minute conference featuring a panel of experts and offering an opportunity for interactive Q&A with the speakers.

You can view the speakers and their PowerPoint presentations online and listen via your computer speakers.

How many people/locations can access the program online or dial into the program?

FOR CLE WEBINARS:

Each attendee must purchase his/her own connection.  Each paid line gives you a single PIN to establish one web connection to view the program. PINs to gain access to the webinar are issued per line.

Conferencing in other lines/locations is not allowed.  If you need additional PINs to access the program from multiple computers, please contact Strafford Customer Service via email or call toll-free at 1-800-926-7926 to purchase additional lines (available for 25% off the registration price). 

FOR CPE WEBINARS:

Each attendee must purchase his/her own connection. Each person requesting CPE processing must be registered for a line (even those listening in a group) and pay an additional CPE processing fee.  

To obtain CPE credits for a Strafford webinar while participating via a group, attendees must participate in the live event via a computer, affirm participation by responding to verification prompts that are displayed throughout the program, complete and submit back to Strafford a proctor form. Submission of this form is required in order for Strafford to process CPE for GROUP participation (in one room on one computer).  Please contact customer service at 1-800-926-7926 to register additional people and reference your weborder # from your receipt.

How do I access the live webinar?

A web access link will be provided in your Strafford account.  We recommend that you join the webinar 15 minutes before it starts.  You will hear background music until the program begins at 1pm Eastern time. 

Caution: Your webinar access link is valid for one connection only. If you give out your connection link to others, you will not be able to gain access to the program without paying for an additional registration. (available at a discounted rate of 35% off the price of registration).

How do I access the handout materials?

Course materials are available on the program web page approximately 24 hours prior to the event.  Simply go to www.straffordpub.com and enter the date or name of your seminar in the Search for programs: box.  Click on the name of your program from the Search Results. Then click on the Presentation link found in the Course Materials box in the upper right-hand corner of the page. This will take you to a PDF that includes all of the speaker handouts.

Additionally, a link to the course materials is included in the Program Access Instructions, which are emailed from "Strafford Webinars" no later than 24 hours prior to a program. If you did not receive your access instructions or if you need to have them re-sent, please call Strafford Customer Service at 1-800-926-7926 (weekdays 9am to 6pm Eastern). Be sure to mention the title and date of the program and name of the main registrant.
 

Does my computer support Strafford live webinars?

Live webinars are supported across the majority of computers, laptops, tablets and mobile devices with Internet access.

How late can I register for a webinar?

You may register any time up to the start of an event, which is 1pm Eastern time. For registrations less than 20 minutes before the program, call Strafford Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-926-7926. This will help ensure that you make the start of the program.

What should I do if my access link is not working?

Access is valid for one web connection only.  Please contact customer service at 1-800-926-7926 so we can address the problem.

Can we record a Strafford webinar?

Recording our programs is not permitted. However, Strafford makes on-demand recordings of virtually every webinar available for purchase.

When does the program start in my time zone?

Strafford programs begin at 1pm Eastern time. For the start time in your area, see below.

Note: These are Daylight Savings Times (DST) during the part of the year that DST is in effect. During those times, registrants in Arizona, Hawaii, Indiana, and other areas that do not participate in DST should make adjustments accordingly.

What is your webinar cancellation/refund policy?

If you cannot attend, just let us know before the program starts. You can transfer your registration fee to another person, to a recording of the event that includes all course handouts, or to another upcoming seminar — or you can request a refund of your registration fee.

Can I share or broadcast Strafford live or recorded content via Zoom, GoToMeeting, Webex, Microsoft Teams, etc.?

No. Strafford products are for individual use only and each attendee must purchase his/her own connection. Conferencing in other lines/locations or sharing or broadcasting of any kind is not permitted. Each paid line gives you access to establish one web connection to view the program. To add additional participants after your initial order, please contact Strafford Customer Service via email or call toll-free at 1-800-926-7926 to purchase additional lines (available for 35% off the registration price).
