He has more than 25 years of experience in private security.

He has worked in loss prevention with Luxottica for 10 years, starting as a senior manager. His loss prevention career has lasted 27 years, including stints with Service Merchandise, Mercantile Stores Co. and Cole National Corp.

He previously was Loss Prevention Director for Denihan's Affinity Hospitality hotel chain. His public and private sector security and law enforcement career spans 40 years, including a stint as an FBI supervisory special agent, and he also now is President of his own security consulting firm, WJM Enterprises of New York.
