Conducted on Thursday, May 7, 2009
Recorded event now available

This seminar will review provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and the Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008 relevant to renewable energy and energy efficiency programs — and what the energy industry and their counsel can do to take advantage of new funding and incentives.

Description

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and the Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008 contain funding provisions and tax incentives to improve energy infrastructure that can provide significant benefits to energy companies.

These economic stimulus programs provide for about $63 billion in spending and tax provisions relating to renewable energy and energy efficiency. The funds appropriated are generally available until September 30, 2010.

Energy companies and their counsel must understand the significant appropriations, tax incentives and relevant deadlines to benefit from the stimulus programs.

Listen as our authoritative panel of attorneys examines the energy provisions of the recent economic stimulus laws. The panel will outline what companies and counsel can do to take advantage of the funding and tax incentive opportunities now available.
