What is a Strafford webinar?
A Strafford webinar is a live, interactive 90- to 110-minute conference featuring a panel of experts and offering an opportunity for interactive Q&A with the speakers.
Strafford webinars offer several options for participation. You can view the speaker-controlled PowerPoint presentations online using a PC or laptop with Internet access (no downloads or plug-ins required) and listen via computer speakers or via telephone. Or you can listen via telephone only and follow along with speaker handouts you have downloaded prior to the program.
Strafford webinars provide an excellent opportunity to train your entire staff — with no lost travel time or expenses. Registration includes a single telephone line and web connection to the presentation. But you may invite an unlimited number of staff at your office location and pay just one registration fee.

What type of equipment do I need to participate in a Strafford webinar?
No special equipment is needed — just a telephone if you want to listen to the audio only and follow along with speaker handouts you have printed out prior to the program (presentation materials are available to download 24 hours prior to the program). Or if you choose to follow the presentation online during the live program, all you need is a PC or laptop with Internet access (no downloads or plug-ins required). You can listen to the audio portion either from your computer speakers or via telephone.
When is the early registration discount deadline?
The early bird discount deadline is generally 4 weeks prior to a program. To find the cutoff date for a particular event, go to that program's web page and look for the Early Registration Discount Deadline in the top right corner. If no early registration box is showing, the deadline has already passed.
When is the latest I can register?
You may register any time up to the start of an event, which is 1pm Eastern time. For registrations less than 30 minutes before the program, call Strafford Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-926-7926 ext 10. This will help ensure that you make the start of the program.
When will I receive my confirmation?
When you place an order online or via telephone, you will receive an email confirmation as soon as you complete the purchase. For emailed orders, you will receive email confirmation within 24 hours.
When will I receive dial-in/web access instructions?
Paid orders placed via our website receive dial-in/web access information immediately as part of the emailed order receipt. Bill me orders will receive dial-in instructions as soon as payment is received by Strafford.
In addition, dial-in/web access instructions, including a link to program handouts and information about our interactive Q&A session, are emailed to registrants and other designated individuals no later than 24 hours prior to a program. This email is sent from "Strafford Webinar Administrator."
To ensure that you receive these instructions, please add our email address — custserv@spb-g.com — to your address book or Internet Service Provider safe list.

How can I have my dial-in instructions/web access re-sent?

Be sure to mention the title and date of the teleconference and name of the main registrant.
When will I receive program handouts?
Speaker handouts are available on the program web page approximately 24 hours prior to the event. Simply go to www.straffordpub.com and select your seminar from the Upcoming Programs list. Then click on the Speaker Handouts link found in the Program Materials box in the upper right-hand corner of the page. This will take you to a PDF that includes all of the speaker handouts.
In addition, a link to the program handouts is included in the dial-in/web access instructions, which are emailed to registrants and other designated individuals no later than 24 hours prior to a program.

How do I access the program?
You will receive a web presentation link with a Conference ID or Meeting Room number provided on your receipt or emailed reminder.
If you choose to listen over the phone, you will be provided with a special toll-free phone number and PIN to access the program. (Registrants calling from outside the US and Canada must use a special toll number.) You will dial in 5 minutes prior to the start time of the event and be placed on hold until the program begins at 1pm Eastern time.
Caution: Your web Conference ID (or Meeting Room number) and telephone PIN are valid for one-time use only. So please do not share them with others.
How can I locate a specific program or event recording?
Simply type the program title or part of the title in the white search box at the top right corner of the screen.
When does the program start in my time zone?
Strafford programs begin at 1 pm Eastern time. For the start time in your area, see below.

Pacific Time 10:00 am
(Note: These are Daylight Savings Times (DST) during the part of the year that DST is in effect. During those times, registrants in Arizona, Hawaii, Indiana, and other areas that do not participate in DST should make adjustments accordingly.)
How many people can access the program online or dial into the program?
Only one person should establish a web connection and/or dial-in. If you give out your Conference ID/Meeting Room number and PIN number to others you will need to purchase an additional line at a discounted rate. Can other offices participate in the webinar?

Are discounts available for additional lines?

What is your webinar cancellation/refund policy?
If you cannot attend, just let us know before the program starts. You can transfer your registration fee to another person, to a CD recording of the event that includes all program handouts, or to another upcoming seminar — or you can request a refund of your registration fee.

Can we record a Strafford program?
