Access Instructions for Webinars/Teleconferences

If you need any assistance prior to the seminar, please call Strafford at 1-800-926-7926 ext. 10.

You may use your access code for testing purposes starting at 10:30am Eastern time the day of the program and will still be able to use it for the program.

Program Materials

When the program materials are available, they are posted to the web page for the program (in the upper right corner of the page). You will be informed of their availability via an email which includes a link to the web page to download the presentation and all continuing education forms. Materials are usually available 24-48 hours before the live webinar. Note: if you register within a day of the program, you may not receive a separate email — just go to the program's web page and the forms will be available for you to download.

Web Access Instructions

To access the web presentation, click here http://www.beaconliveweb.com/?brnd=151&rl=1 (no downloads or plug-ins required).

Your Meeting Room and PIN are provided on your web confirmation page and your e-mail receipt.

You may listen to the presentations through your computer’s speakers. If you prefer to use a telephone for the audio, simply follow the Dial-In Instructions below.  Listening via the phone may provide better sound quality.

NOTE: If you will be seeking CPE credits, you must dial in for your audio.

Dial-In Instructions

Please dial in at least 5 minutes prior to the start time.

  • Step 1: Dial the phone number you received on your web confirmation page or your e-mailed receipt.
  • Step 2: When prompted enter your PIN CODE. Your PIN code can also be found on your web confirmation page or your emailed receipt. Then enter the number of listeners on the line.
Note: Each PIN is valid for one-time use only. If you give out your PIN to others, you WILL NOT be able to gain access to the call without registering for an additional line (available at a discounted rate).**
  • Step 3: You will be placed on hold until the program begins.

During the Webinar/Teleconference

  • On the web, you can use the help icon at the top of your screen if you need any assistance.
  • If you have any difficulties during the call, press *0 ("star" "zero") for assistance.
  • If the sound quality is not satisfactory please e-mail sound@straffordpub.com or send a chat immediately so we can address the problem.

Interactive Q&A
We will be fielding questions submitted via phone, email and the chat function on the web.

  • To submit a question via the web, use the chat function at the left of your screen and type your question to Q&A Session.
  • To ask a question via the phone, simply press *1 ("star" "one") on your phone. If for any reason you decide not to ask your question, you can press *1 ("star" "one") again to exit the question queue.
    • Once you press *1, you won't hear any kind of acknowledgment that you are in the queue – that's so you can continue listening to other questions and answers while waiting your turn. When it's your turn, the operator will announce the first name & city for the person registered for your location – if you'd like to identify yourself further, please do so.
  • You may also submit questions via email anytime before or during the program to the email address provided with your emailed instructions the day prior to the conference.
