Credits Available
Strafford legal webinars and teleconferences are usually eligible for 1.5 general CLE credits, depending on program length and state rules. Programs with "ethics" in the title of the event generally earn between 0.5 and 1.5 ethics credits. In addition, many states will grant self-study CLE credits for listening to recorded events.

Accreditation
Strafford is accredited as a CLE sponsor by AK, AL, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, GA, HI, IL, MO, MS, MT, NE, NH, NM, NV, OK, PA, RI, SC, TX, VA, VT, and WV. Strafford can also process CLE credits for AZ, FL, IA, ID, KY, LA, ME, MN, NC, ND, NY (except NY attorneys admitted within the last 2 years), OR, TN, UT, WA, and WI.

Due to restrictions of the following jurisdictions, Strafford cannot provide CLE credit processing for IN, OH, and PR or for NY attorneys admitted within the last 2 years.

Processing
To obtain CLE credit using Strafford's CLE processing service, attendees must participate in the live event, return an Official Record of Attendance to Strafford affirming their participation, and pay any required fees.

Since reporting requirements vary widely by state, attendees are encouraged to apply within 30 days.

Special Requirements for NM, NC and NH: Individuals requesting CLE credit for NM, NC or NH must submit a completed Official Record of Attendance within 10 days following a program.

Credit Confirmation
Depending on individual states' approval times, Strafford will send CLE credit confirmation to attendees within approximately 30 days of receiving the attendee's completed Official Record of Attendance—provided all required conditions have been satisfied.

Online CLE

Many states grant CLE credits—participatory, self-study, non-traditional/alternate format—for on-demand streaming audio programs. Refer to our state CLE map for information about your state.

Strafford's Online CLE programs are pre-approved for participatory or non-traditional/alternate format credit in: AK, CA, CT*, HI*, NY*, SC, WV and for self-study credit in: AZ, DE, MO, MT, TX, VT. You will be able to request your credits immediately in those states.

We will also process participatory or non-traditional/alternate format credit in: ND, CO, FL, GA, NH, NC, OR*, TN, WI*, KY and self-study in: ID, UT, WA, WY, ME, NM, NV.
If you are applying for credit in one of these states, make sure to select those states when placing your order. Processing may take a few weeks unless the program is already approved in your state, refer to the program page for specifics.

Recorded Events

Many states grant self-study CLE credits for recorded events. Refer to our state CLE map for information about your state.

Available Recorded Formats
Strafford webinars are available as MP3 Downloads and Webinar Downloads, online streaming audio, and on CD and DVD-ROM. All program formats include access to speaker handouts—as separate PDFs with the audio formats and included in the presentation materials in the video formats.

Strafford's legal program recordings are pre-approved for self-study credit in AK, AZ, CA, CT, MO, MT, NY*, TX, VT, WA.

*NY CLE rules uniquely require self-study listeners to verify their participation by submitting the NY Affirmation Form for Recorded Events.  Please contact Strafford's CLE department at 1-800-926-7926 ext. 35 or CLE@straffordpub.com for this form.
